ZACH
Rescued from Spalding County Animal Control

We just got back from the dog park with Murphy and Zach. You won't believe it, but Zach was running up to everyone and letting them all pet him - he is completely over his initial shyness with people. He is doing just great - he's very sweet and really wants to please. He walks on a leash like he's been through training, and has not had a single problem. We've kept him and Murphy in the house this week when we've been at work and come home every day at lunch just for 15 minutes or so. This weekend we'll let him out in the yard for a longer period of time while we're here - he is adjusting to everything just beautifully - he truly couldn't be better!

Dee Dee was rescued from Murray County Animal Control
It was her last day to live!
DeeDee is now named DaisyMae, and she's doing great! Rocky, our weimaraner, and Daisy are becoming great friends. We spent the weekend at our cabin in Blairsville, and she definitely was loving the hiking and crunch of the leaves in the woods! Not sure she'll ever be ready for "off leash" on the trails...who knows if she'll ever come back once she gets a scent! We met up with a few deer, but she only pointed and began a howl...she backed off when called! Smart Dog! Though we didn't have to go far from our home to find wildlife! In fact, recently while walking down the street, we actually ran into a RACCOON in the front yard a few doors down. Incredible..the day I bring a "coonhound" into the "hood" one actually shows up, though not likely to again! She's very sweet and loving and definitely a curious one! We are so happy to have DaiseyMae as a new member of our family!
FAITH
Faith and her 3 siblings were rescued from Northeast Georgia Animal Services. They were to be gassed the next day!
Just wanted to thank AAR for such a great experience in adopting our new family pet, now named Lucy. We had been looking for a puppy to add to our family and saw Lucy on Petfinder.com and my children and I fell in love with her. We drove from Gainesville, FL to Atlanta, GA to get her and the trip was totally worth it. She is such a beautiful dog inside and out. Her favorite things to do are playing in the water, taking walks, and going to Petsmart for training and some socializing. We are so happy to have her as part of our family.
Thank you again!!
